Rub a Dub Dub; Dancing in the Tub by Lemonfruitpie

Kigeni, done for the anthro sketch exchange community :3

After I read the description, I immediately knew I wanted to do him in the shower...and somehow singing and dancing got worked into there. I really have no clue as to why he's clothed though.

I tried to do a looser sketch this time (heh, yes, that is loose for me!) but I doubt I'll do it again. The effort saved during the sketching process was nullified by the extra work I had to put in during the clean up and coloring process. Not sure if I like this piece; I keep changing my mind about it. Anyways, I hope he likes it!

The Fox and the Cheese by Rebecca Kemp

The Fox and the Cheese is based on an Aesop's Fable, The Fox and the Raven. A raven has a piece of cheese in her beak when a hungry fox passes by. He asks for a bite of the cheese, but the raven refuses. Then, slyly, he asks if she could sing for him instead because he tells her what a beautiful sing voice she has. Flattered, the raven croaks out a note, dropping the cheese. The fox snatches it up and runs off with it. Moral: Flattery will get you everywhere. In this painting, I upgraded the cheese to a gem and anthropomorphasized the fox.

Medium: acrylics
Tags: fox Raven myth fable Aesop's stories
